Holly Baird BVSCV MRCVS
Holly hails from the tiny town of Marlo on the Snowy River Estuary in Victoria, Australia. She has a lifelong obsession with all things equine and has participated in a wide variety of equine sports including pony club, mounted games, showjumping, eventing, polo and team chasing.
She graduated from The University of Melbourne Bachelor of Veterinary Science Degree with Honours in 2002 and immediately began working at a busy equine practice in Sydney. Based in Windsor, a hive of activity for Australian polo, it was here that she developed a keen interest in the veterinary care and welfare of polo ponies.
She moved to the UK and joined the Scott Dunn team in 2006. During the summer months Holly can be found pitchside at the Guards Polo Club in Windsor Great Park where she is the club veterinarian and welfare representative.
Outside of work Holly is obsessed with travelling to far flung destinations, yoga and horseriding. She looks forward every year to an Australian sojurn to catch up with her family and her best friend, Cricket the Kelpie.
