Ellen Eaves MRCVS
Ellen graduated with distinction from Liverpool in 2004, where she did electives in anaesthesia, equine orthopaedics and cattle reproduction. She then worked in a mixed practice in Worcestershire for nearly 4 years, where her specialisation became increasingly equine, whilst still enjoying the odd calving, caesarean, and some small animal surgery.
In 2008 she spent 2 months working for SPANA (Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad) in Morocco with working horses, donkeys and mules, where her interest in wound management and everything gorey was fully utilised! A short period as an equine locum has since lead her to Scott Dunns, where she has been since September 2008. Whilst particularly enjoying the challenge of orthopaedic cases and being a proficient anaesthetist, she also has a special interest in laminitis and geriatrics.
When not at work, Ellen is an addicted skier, enjoys sailing and has serious intentions to get back into triathlon. She also enjoys the gym, and running with her border terrorist “Kiwi”.
